1. Steps to Use the Mortar and Pestle:

1. Face the Mortar and Pestle and press E to open its inventory.
2. Adjust the filters as shown in the image to ensure all craftable items are visible.
3. Drag the required materials (like NARCOBERRY and SPOILED MEAT) into the Mortar and Pestle.
4. Right-click on the desired item (e.g., NARCOTIC) and choose the quantity to begin crafting.

2. Crafting Tips:
If you queue too many items and wish to stop mid-process, click CANCEL QUEUE to cancel the remaining crafting tasks.
Note: The item currently being crafted will continue since the materials have already been consumed.

3. NARCOTIC Recipe:
To craft NARCOTIC, you’ll need:
• 5 × NARCOBERRY
• 1 × SPOILED MEAT
Once placed into the Mortar and Pestle, follow the steps above to produce NARCOTIC for taming creatures or making tranquilizer arrows.

You should always pay attention to the status icons in the bottom right corner of the screen. When your character is affected by hunger, thirst, cold, or heat, your health will slowly drain. If these conditions are ignored, death is inevitable.

Understanding what these icons mean is especially important for new players.

To check the meaning of each icon, press the I key to open the character interface (B on Xbox, Circle on PlayStation). On this screen, you can see all of your character’s attributes. The icons shown above these attributes correspond directly to the icons displayed in the bottom right corner.

Status effects such as cold and heat are classified as buffs or debuffs. You need to click “SHOW BUFFS” to view their detailed descriptions and effects.

The IMPLANT icon represents your experience (XP) status and is related to character progression and leveling.

Common Reasons Your Character Can’t Move

On the right side of the screen, you’ll see the WEIGHT status icon.

When the icon turns yellow, your movement speed is reduced.

When it turns red, your character will no longer be able to move.

Press the I key to open your inventory. You can see your current WEIGHT value there, and each item also shows its individual weight in the bottom-right corner. This makes it easy to identify what’s causing the problem. See the image below for reference.

For new characters, WEIGHT is usually low at the beginning of the game. Carrying too many resources early on can easily push you over the limit and prevent movement.

How to Fix the Issue

There are two main ways to solve this problem:

1.Put points into WEIGHT

If you still have unspent attribute points, adding them to WEIGHT will increase how much your character can carry.

2. Reduce what you’re carrying

If you don’t have any points left, you’ll need to drop some items or store them in containers or on dinosaurs to lower your WEIGHT.

Once your WEIGHT returns to a normal range, your character will be able to move again immediately.

Quick Death Method 1:
PC: Press I to open the inventory. Move the mouse over the Specimen Implant, wait for 5 seconds, then wait until the red text disappears and press E to die instantly.

Xbox controller: Press the B button to open the inventory. Move the cursor onto the Specimen Implant, wait for 5 seconds, then wait until the red text disappears and press RT to die instantly.

PlayStation controller: Press the Circle (O) button to open the inventory. Move the cursor onto the Specimen Implant, wait for 5 seconds, then wait until the red text disappears and press R2 to die instantly.

Quick Death Method 2 (no longer supported in newer versions):
Press the “~” key on the keyboard to open the console.
Enter “suicide” or “kill” and press Enter to die instantly.
